City of Walnut Creek Artists' Market December 2-4

I'm going to be participating in this winter's Artists' Market, a program of the City of Walnut Creek, California's Civic Arts Education. Art work by Civic Arts Education instructors and students will be available for purchase on December 2, 3, and 4.


The Artists' Market will feature work in many media, including ceramics, jewelry, and painting, as well as photography.

The event takes place at the Shadelands Art Center, located at 111 N. Wiget Lane (at Ygnacio Valley Road) in Walnut Creek.

There is an opening reception on Friday evening, December 2, from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., with refreshments and live music (I expect to arrive around 6:00). The Artists' Market continues on Saturday, December 3 (10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.) and Sunday, December 4 (10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.).

Pinholio

I'm happy and honored to announce that two of my photos will be included in Pinholio, an exhibition of contemporary pinhole photography at Good Citizen Gallery, 2247 Gravois Ave., St. Louis MO, 63104, 314-348-4587. The show was curated by Alison Ouellette-Kirby and Mark A. Fisher and runs from this Friday, November 18 through December 17. An opening reception is scheduled for November 18 from 6:00-10:00. Again: Reflections and Photography

I'm delighted to announce that one of my photos is included in Again: Reflections and Photography. The exhibition opens this Tuesday, November 8 at PhotoPlace Gallery, 3 Park Street, Middlebury, VT, 802-989-2359. It was juried by photographer Sylvia de Swaan.

Bending the Light

I'm excited and honored to have five of my Polaroid photos included in Bending the Light, an exhibition of analogue photography. This show is an off-site exhibit of the Oakland Museum of California and was curated by Allyson Hollingsworth and Michael Temperio. It opens at the Oakland International Airport this Friday, November 4, and runs through February 3, 2012.
