I'm delighted and honored to have been selected for inclusion in the Bay Area Visual Arts Network (BayVAN) 2012 Artist Registry! BayVAN is a unique organization that promotes the visual arts in the San Francisco Bay area through activities such as their arts consultation services and exhibition production.
The BayVAN 2012 Artist Registry is here, and you can see my portfolio (including some work first seen on this blog!) here.

Imagination
I've recently had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with U.K.-based artist Al Brydon. We've used plastic Holga cameras to create a series of double exposures that superimpose the landscapes of England and California.
I'm honored and thrilled to announce that one of our photos, "Memory of a distant forest," will be included in Imagination, an exhibition at the A Smith Gallery. The gallery is located at 105 N. Nugent Ave., Johnson City, Texas, and can be reached by phone at 512-422-4080.
Not only that, but our photograph was awarded an Honorable Mention!

The exhibition was juried by the widely-exhibited and widely-published artist, curator, reviewer, writer, editor, and teacher Aline Smithson, who writes and edits the blog Lenscratch.
Imagination opens on February 17, 2012 and runs through April 1, 2012. There will be receptions on February 21 and March 31, both from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
