Somerville Toy Camera Festival

I'm honored and excited that two of my photographs will be exhibited at the third annual Somerville Toy Camera Festival. This year's celebration of plastic camera photography, running throughout this month, includes work by nearly 100 artists from 5 countries and 26 U.S. states, exhibited in three galleries in the city of Somerville, Massachusetts, as well as several discussions and workshops.

My photographs will be part of the exhibit at the Nave Gallery Annex, located at 53 Chester St., Somerville, MA. This exhibit runs from September 10 through 27, with an opening reception next Thursday, September 10, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

The juror for the 2015 Somerville Toy Camera Festival was Aline Smithson, who is a fine art photographer, curator, and founder and editor of the top-rated photography blogzine Lenscratch.

  1. Congrats, Jacki. I'm hoping that I'll get to see these in person before the show closes.

  2. Congrats Jacki! 2 Photos is awesome! A feat that I've never achieved! I see 2 kissing swans in the sky in the first photo & the egret photo looks like it was taken at night! Looking mysterious...maybe it's wandering what is swan friend's taking so long to come back?

    1. Thank you so much, Eleni! I can see the swans too! The egret photo is a combination of early morning and Diana (clone) light :-)
